We connect students with students
The unique challenges of this year have prevented too many students from being able to access a quality education. Peer2Peer was founded to combat this gap, and provide free, comprehensive resources to all students. We strive to be as efficient and accessible as possible, and work to ensure that our students always have a way to enrich and further their education.

Tutors of the Month - January
Hello, everyone! My name is Oriana Sohmer, and I’m a senior at Ardrey Kell High School. My favorite subject is English, as I very much enjoy reading and helping others with reading, as well. As for my favorite moment, there is not just one particular event that I have in mind, I just really love seeing my students start to really understand the material that they are learning. If you need some tips and pointers, I would definitely say the most important thing about tutoring is getting to know your student, that way you are able to connect with them. It is also important to have patience and to put yourself in the student’s shoes. I am very passionate about tutoring, and hope to help other students in the future.
Hi! My name is Nicole, and I’m so happy to able to be apart of Peer2peer during these weird times as a math tutor. I am a junior at Cherry Creek High School and love to get involved with all sorts of activities. Tutoring has been amazing and I think it’s important to have fun doing it! The satisfaction and joy of helping someone else is always amazing and as a tutor, I have been able to feel that on multiple occasions. |
Free tutoring
Peer2Peer believes that a quality education should be as accessible as possible, which is why all of our activities are completely FREE. We strive to prove that tutoring and educational help does not have to cost hundreds of dollars, which allows us to access a much wider range of students.
Qualified mentors
Only students can explain concepts the way other students understand them! Our mentors are qualified and passionate about the subjects they teach. Peer2Peer provides students with a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community, and allows them to work towards volunteering service hours.
Convenient schedule
We ensure that our sessions are as flexible as possible, with the parents and student determining the time that works best for them, we then match them with a tutor available at that time, and create a ZOOM meeting room supervised by one of our Peer Leaders.
Community focused
At its heart, Peer2Peer is a community of students who value education. We communicate with our mentors and students openly and are always looking to improve our program through feedback forms. Be sure to email us at peer2peercharlotte@gmail.com with any questions/concerns!
